To add to the collection of advertising resources, I want to highlight ETrafficJams search engine marketing
service. They offer a unique program where you can pay by the month for search engine placement. Offering a guaranteed top 10 placement on google, yahoo, or MSN or you get the month free. While the service starts at 500.00 a month, that is not bad for a business site. Especially for the traffic that will follow from a top 10 placement. My husband has been researching SEO companies for his companies site, and I have had the pleasure of seeing some of the quotes, most of the ‘real’ companies are charging upwards of 1000 a month for this type of service. I will be adding this company to his list to research, and hopefully he will get back to me soon with the results. He has been making calls, checking references, etc. See, he is in a unique position that most small businesses are not, he doesn’t have a true cap on the spending for SEO, his boss is willing to pay 1000 a month for SEO, but then again, it is a large company. But he is taking his time, as we all should, to throughly research each company, as if he spends 1000 a month and they end up being a scam, it is his head on the line, not theirs.
So, add this to your list of companies to check out, I stand by my idea that you CAN get good rankings yourself, but I still believe you can get better ones if you pay for them, as these types of people have been trained and know alot more about SEO than I ever could!
