Becoming a Real Estate Agent

February 1, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: What I am Doing, Business Advice

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Home Business does not always have to be strictly from home, I have met a few Realtors in the last few weeks that work from home, while you need to be dedicated and disciplined as with any job, it is possible. I personally would be working outside of the home for the first while, then possible converting to the home after I gained some knowledge and status.

This post is coming from my decision to start a new career, I recently registered at Real Estate College and will be licensed within the next few months. While I could definitely get licensed then find a broker(employer) where I would be home based, I am choosing to start out in the office, where I can have other experienced sellers show me the ropes. I made the decision to apply for this career after months of thought and research. I love working from home and I love blogging, and will continue both. I just wanted something more, something to do, as blogging does not take all of my time. :-)

I hope that anyone considering real estate as a profession will continue reading here, as well as let me know we are on the same path. It is always nice to know your peers.

Definetly keep us posted on your progress. I was interested in this field a while back but could not justify leaving my present job (guaranteed income). But in June this may not be an issue and I may be looking back into this profession.
