Changes in Advertising over the years

With the internet, comes change. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. With the addition of the internet, advertising has changed dramatically. It seems more and more that no matter the type of business you run, a website is needed. I catch myself doing it all the time, when I look in the phone book or search the online yellow pages even for a diner, I tend to gravitate to the ones that have a website.

Advertising has truned direction over the years as well, with companies that offer services to improve search engine placement like Search Placement.com, you also have companies that offer the same service for much higher rates. And some for lower. Advertising now has become a sport, when you hire a company to handle your promotion, or pay to have an ad out, you are betting on that company, it could be legit, it could be a scam. It is becoming harder and harder to determine either way. With a little research, your advertising dollar can go alot farther.
