I use Adsense on my blogs simply for the extra income, I am not making much on adsense right now at all. From what I remember it is not allowed to mention your earnings, so I will refrain. I am trying to do some research on how to make more from adsense, without writing posts just to get hits, I don’t believe in that, and when I see a site that has nothing but gibberish and adsense ads, I cringe.
Right now I use MightyAdsense and UltimateTag Warrior, as well as Optimal Title; all of which I have read help in targeting and placing ads. I am also looking into some sort of targeting plugin that I read about weeks ago, that makes it where you can specify what text the adsense spiders pay attention to to target your ads. As I have noticed the ads themselves do not always reflect the post content.
I want to open a discussion, what are your adsense tips and advice? Share them here and I will make a post with all of your tips linked to your home page, great way to gain exposure and help some other bloggers. Hope to hear from you soon!

Making sure that the background of the ads matches the blog’s background always does it for me.
Also, making use of Google Analytics and Mybloglog on checking out what keywords are driving traffic to my blog and which pages get to get more ads clicked is one way I monitor AdSense earnings.
I never really got more than a few cents a day from adsense, so I just stopped serving them altogether.
