Please Back up your computer!

| March 29th, 2007

Do you have your IBackup Online Backupaccount yet? You really should, it is inexpensive and well worth it. I have learned the hard way far too many times not to back up. And backing up with them (IBackup) is a heck of alot easier than burning CD’s or DVD’s. The accounts are super easy to set up and they are feature heavy, allowing for many options you may be needing. From on demand to scheduled, whatever works the best for you is what you get.

I have been using IBackup for about a month now and love it so far. I don’t have to worry about loosing all of my wedding pictures, website layouts, programs and settings, I have so much on my computer I could never burn it all to a CD, by storing it there, I do not run the risk of loosing everything if even the worst case scenario happens, like a fire, or a hurricane (we are in a mobile home in FL!! LOL) I will still have all of my files online. I posted about IBackup a little over a month ago, and that is when I started using them, using the money I would be making from posting about them to sign up, I cant thank them enough for that peace of mind. (And this post will help pay for next months fee) Thank you IBackup!

The Plugins I use

| March 29th, 2007

I have had alot of emails asking about what plugins I am using here, so I am copying and pasting the plugins list, all of these are active except the Tiger style admin, which doesn’t work with the newest wordpress :-( It is a long list so hit read more to see the full thing. And just click on the plugin name to get it yourself. I plan on adding more, like expand comments and such when I have the time.

Do you have Windows Vista?

| March 29th, 2007

Have you upgraded to windows vista yet? I hear it is pretty neat, I have not been able to try it out as of yet, but I do plan on getting it on my next PC, hopefully soon. My friend has it on hers and she said it is tricky, but pay per post just released this opportunity to tell you about the Windows Vista Training videos offered by Train Signal Training, I watched the demo, it looks pretty in depth, and if Vista is really that complicated like I heard I may need it too. I hope not, I have always prided myself on learning as I go, my step dad taught me that when I first started using the computer, that we could always reformat it so I could just do what I wanted, since then, I can figure out mostly any program if you let me play with it for a while! LOL But the videos are a great idea, I have watched a bunch on another site about web design and it is a good alternative to hands on learning.
