When you are starting a small or home based business, one of the FIRST things you will need to do is establish a web presence, no longer are the days where you can just throw together a website yourself and expect great results. Now is the time to really invest in a great site, take a look at this Florida web design company, that has a load of huge companies that they have done services for. They offer cd design, flash designers, and cd production. Research is crucial in this step, as well as realizing your budget for this expense. Do not ask a designer to do a complete website for 500.00, you will not usually get a website that will allow you to grow economically. Take the site I mentioned above for an example, check out the portfolio and the design of the site, as well as read about the company and processes. You will generally get a much lower price for web design from someone like me, who does web design strictly on the side for fun, than from someone like the 352media group, however, the site you will get from me and from them will differ in so many ways, as they have much more experience and training. I personally have taken a hiatus from web design anyway, but there are many other bloggers and home workers that will help you put together a site for a lower cost. But by going to one of these larger companies you will have a different result, not saying that smaller companies can not produce quality work, not at all, some of the smaller firms will give you much more for your money in terms of attention and one on one, and even better design in terms of what you want. But never overlook the larger companies just because you think you can not afford them, it never hurts to seek a proposal and see what they have to offer, they may surprise you.
