2 Birds, 1 Stone - Freelance Projects

March 15, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Design, Business Advice, Technology

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This post is a two parter, aiming to help 2 very different people with one stone. (Ok, bad analogy, I know!) Anyway, this site, the freelance web design exchange is for both designers and clients. So say Sam is a web designer reading this blog to better help him start his home business doing web design, well, Sam can go to the freelance exchange and post his portfolio, look for projects, etc. And then say Andy is here reading about selling soap online, well, Andy can go to the exchange and post a project to build him a website. There, Sam and Andy can get together and start work.

Sounds simple right? It is! LOL When I first started web design I used a site similar to the one above, it is no longer online, but I had my first few clients from it, then when I as a designer got too busy to do something, I would post a project on there to get help finishing something. It is great to be able to set your price and cost.

So, whether you are a designer with skills to sell, or looking for a designer, check them out see what you can find.
