If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

question of the week One of my online friends started this Question of the week for work at home women, I thought I would give it a go.

Question: How many hours a week do you spend on your home business? Do you think it is too much or too little?

I spend about 3 hours a day working on my sites usually, but take off on weekends so that is about 15 hours a week. I personally thing that is not enough, I should probable do a lot more but right now it is working for me. Even on those days I spend 3 hours though, it is broken up through the day, and on some days I am working a little more and some a lot less LOL. It all depends on my mood. But now that I started west again, I will …

Another place to submit your sites

March 20, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Technology, SEO and Marketing

To add to the growing list of recommended places to submit your business site or blog, I am adding Big Web Links Directory, I found them through Pay Per Post, and the are very well designed in terms of growth potential. They are going to list sites are going to be sorted by contribution amount. While this means they are not free, this also means that newer sites that normally will get sorted by popularity, page rank, or even the alphabet, will have a chance to be seen. This is very important for both visitors to the site and when google indexes the page, as the top links are given many more ‘points’ then page 10. I don’t work again till tomorrow, I wanted to get some things finished around the house and after yesterday, well, I needed a break!

If you are running a niche site, say on babies, you may find that having a source to find more baby articles helpful. Well, ResourcefulSpace is doing just that, they are taking all the different niche topics and combining them by subject, with articles on each for you to learn more on the topic. This place would be great to get into to help write articles and advertise your knowledge. I would definitely contact them to see about submitting articles to help fill in the blanks, it is places like this that are growing that you can make some pretty good money on.

Page Rank Predictions

March 16, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: SEO and Marketing

Have you ever run your site through one of these? The one I use most is this one at IWebTool. They are not 100% accurate, but it was very close, they will at least let you know if you will be going up or down in the next update. It is saying now that this site will be going to a 5 and the other site I have will be going to a 4. But yesterday I got opposite results! :-( I guess we will have to wait till google updates!
