So, you have a website… you are trying to make money… are you? Do you know what is working and what isn’t? Keeping an very close eye on your website leads is very important. The best way to do this is to use a program that specializes in sales management software. There are numerous programs available, and each have different features, the one over at AIM Promote has a great overview, in the form of a chart to compare some different programs.
AIMPromote offers alot of the things you will want to track, no matter the business, tracking leads, stats, sales, changes over time, they even offer newsletter service, user groups, mass email management, and a ton of other features you may or may not need. I personally like how they help keep track of a number of different income sources, say you are selling books, renting ad space, and placing affiliate buttons on your site, this helps you keep track of each so you can better know what is and isn’t working for you. Same with tracking visitors, if you are paying 50.00 a month for advertising through siteA and only 20 a month through siteB, you will need to know how many visits AND sales you are getting from each. This way you do not waste money if the 50.00 one is getting you a ton of visitors but no sales.
