For those of you like me, whom do not know a whole lot about investing, this article on compound interest and its implications in investments lays it out in plain English. Explaining what it is, why it is good, or bad in some cases, and when to use it. She talks about how it can be used, and where we see it on a daily basis. The blog itself also had some great information.
