You know, part of this blog is about brainstorming new ways to make money, and I was thinking last night about people that buy homes and rent them out. Why couldn’t that be a business, buying a bunch of homes on the coast and offering a Florida rental vacation, where you would rent out the home for a week or so, have it completely furnished and just do it like a motel type thing. The cost to start of course would be high, buying all of the houses, start with one and build from there, when we went to Tennessee for a friends wedding we stayed in a cabin in the mountains, it was completely furnished, beautiful and cheap. Why couldn’t we do something like that in FL? It would be slow on the off season, but then you could rent for 6 months at a time or something…. it is something to look into… for sure.
