Have you been getting more comments with DoFollow

April 18, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Blogging

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I sure have, both of my blogs have been getting a ton more comments since I joined the do-follow movement. I would love to hear how everyone else has done with this. Leave a comment or write up a post, maybe someone that is good at graphs and such will jump in and do a little study on it! I didn’t do it just for the comments though, I did it because I love getting them, so as a way to thank everyone, I wanted to allow google and other search engines find their site, it is a win win! :-)

9 people have left comments

I’ve had mixed results. I’ve had some people leaving great comments and some mediore ones. The ones I hate however are the “Please use this wiget I created on your website” or “Please add me to your blogroll” which are totally unrelated to the post the comment was placed on. Makes me want to strangle some people …

I have a fairly new blog, and I can’t tell you how perfect the timing is on this. I was just thinking the other night about the long road to mucho “link love”, and this I Follow movement will help tremendously. It encourages more comments, and I personally think that people will spend a little more time on another blog, because now they will be searching your archives posting on everything! hehe…

Overall a great idea and I can’t wait to see the impact in the big picture.

Keep up the good work!

Ryan

It is a great movement, and I agree, some people need to be more nice with comments, actually say something like all of you guys did :-) Thanks!

Totally getting more comments, and most of them are great. I am really enjoying the interaction with my readers. Alot of them are coming via the do-follow list, but I also think some lurkers have come out of the wood work, too.
