PayPerPost Acquisition

April 20, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Blogging

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Apparently Pay Per Post has acquired a new company and they are now paying us to speculate on what that is before they announce it next week…. That could be dangerous! In case you didn’t know already, Pay Per Post is the company I work with that pays me to place online ads on my blog, they list out all of the available advertisement opportunities and I get to review them and then pick the one I choose to write about on my blogs. It is a great way to find out about new companies and products I otherwise would never hear of.

Anyway, back to the speculation, what company do I think Pay Per Post acquired? Google? MyBlogLog? Something similar to pay per post like Review Me, Sponsored reviews, and the like? What do I most want them to acquire? I am not sure, as long as it helps them grow I really don’t care. If it helps them gain credibility in the marketplace so we have more than mortgage loan opps to choose from on a daily basis, acquire what you want! :-)

I think MyBlogLog is was already bought by some big company like Google or yahoo wasn’t it? What about Blog Catalog? I wonder… The speculation around seem to center on another paid service or a social networking service. Should be interesting whatever it is.

Or maybe they bought Court’s site? What do you think it would mean to you and your business? More options? I hope so. I have enjoyed your site and what you have to offer.

Drew is correct. MyBlogLog is owned by Yahoo.

Interesting do believe MyblogLog is in fact yahoo. I sure will see a lot more buy outs in the future.
