I wanted to take a minute to tell you about the best books ever- in my humble opinion- I linked them to my Amazon page for you to check out. The first one is Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover, it is the PERFECT book for budgeting and getting out of debt; I have the list of ‘baby steps’ printed out and hanging on the fridge! LOL This program goes well with the ‘MVelopes’ way of budgeting, and seems to really be a great method for me and my husband. Anything by Dave Ramsey is great, I love his radio show as well!
The next is anything by Louise L. Hay, one of my favorites are the Power Thought Cards
, they are not really a book, but I used these in a great womens group a while back, they are ‘positive affirmations’ to repeat to yourself, they really do work, at least for me. Right now I dont have anything by her, but I really want to get a set of the cards and maybe a book or two, I have alot of self esteem issues and assertiveness issues that she really targets for me. Anoth must if you are trying to start working from home, it is so easy to get discouraged.

I found Dave Ramsey’s book to be inspirational and full of useful information, too. Some other books I would recommend would be Think and Grow Rich, Getting Things Done and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. All of these changed the way I think about things. I’ll have to check out the Louise Hay books…
Thanks Ray, I have the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and will check out the others you mentioned, they sound great! I hope you like the Louise Hay!
I love the Louise Hay publishing house..and the books through there. I have a few of those authors. At the spa we get the catalog and order stuff through there for the spa. I have a bunch of stuff from that publishing house! I love things like that. I’m going to check out the first book on budgeting you mentioned.
