Still deciding what to do in life

It is still up in the air. I have so many options to go through, do I want to be a real estate agent, I already paid for 1/2 the school I might as well! LOL And so much of real estate is becoming internet related right now, with websites like the blue ridge real estate one and agent sites. That would put me a step ahead of other local agents that are not online. Orrrr, do I want to do nursing, or office management? Or even something else all together? I am not getting any younger, I should really get to choosing. I just need to get where I am feeling better first, I couldn’t imagine working full time anywhere right now, even at home for goodness sake!

Loving the new PC!

My new computer is so wonderful! It is so much faster than the old on, my husband has the old one now, all we need to do is get him more memory, they have it pretty cheap here for some IBM memory if you needed some! He has it all set up in his game room now, the monitor was actually fine for me until I got this new one, now when I look at his it looks miniature! He will probably end up wanting a new monitor soon too LOL. I will definitely recommend Dell to anyone, they did great by us this time! And the Vista operating system is great, it works perfectly SO FAR LOL. :-)

More ways to save

I am loving the MVelopes program to do our budget, it is really nice to have money in savings now. I started a new set of envelopes to add to, one for a new car, new washing machine (ours died) and a new bed! So hopefully we will get those filled up soon! I was talking to joseph about how much we would save if we just saved our change in one place, like get a cool little coin sorter or something– keeping them in a jar does not work, Joseph keeps digging into it!! I was also thinking about getting a coin operated washing machine! LOL That would be cool- a great way to save money, like paying ourselves to do our laundry– and of course have the key for when we don’t have change! LOL What do you think?

Finding time for life

Do you ever have those days, where you just cant get back into the groove? Lately I have had alot of those days, but I am trying. And I will get there. I have been taking it one step at a time, from working on the house, my health, the sites, even looking into getting some sort of decorative type of yard markers to put outside, maybe if I make this place nicer I will like it more. It isn’t that I hate my house, I just want more, eventually, we are saving money and trying to buy a home, have more. But in order to get there, I need to have the energy to work, so I think changing my enviroment will give me more motivation.

What do you think? Have you experienced those times where you just have all the will in the world …

Great email from my husband today- really makes you think! :-) If only these were not true! I cant decide which is my favorite!

1. Only in America……can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.

2. Only in America……are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.

3. Only in America……do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

4. Only in America……do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

5. Only in America……do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

6. Only in America……do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

7. Only in America……do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won’t miss …
