Work form Home - Telecommute

notebook.gifBelow is a list of companies that you can apply to work from home as a telecommuter- which means answering the phone from your home and helping people with various tasks. Depending on the company, you could be providing tech support, taking orders, looking up orders, etc. Basically a call center position from your home. Typically they have you download the programs they use to your computer and they route the calls to your phone where you then process them. Many of the companies pay by the minute, however, some do pay by the hour. A good forum to get info on these companies is The Work Place Like Home forums. You may not be qualified for all of these companies for various reasons (location, phone lines, experience, etc. But they all vary, many will hire you wilth NO experience, just read through the requirements of each. Also, some have a fee for the background check, usually only 30.00 or so. REMINDER- never pay to get a list of companies, they are a scam, it is just someone with a list (like the one below) that is putting it in an ebook and selling it- not fair!

For some of these, I gave a link to the topic about them at the message boards, incase the process was legnthy or you needed to do something special. If it does not let you access the post, you may need to register (free of course) they are great forums to be a member of anyway with a wealth of info available about finding a real job at home.

thanks deb! I just wish it was not so hard to find free lists like this- so many people charge for them! Hopefully someone will be helped by this!

Having the option to telecommute nowadays is an absolute necessity. The increase of gas and and other expansese really does place a strain on families. Being able to actually be home with your children and work as well is the perfect combination!

Sitting by the phone all day answering calls don’t sound very liberating to me
My idea about working from home is to gain more free time in my life.
Not to sure if this type of home work would suit me.
