I cant stress this point enough, an organized space is an efficient space! I you have to spend 15 minutes hunting down a pen or paper, well, you just wasted 15 minutes! This applies to both you office space and your computer…. we will get to that in a minute. Ok, first step in organizing your office space is making sure you have enough storage; this does not have to be expensive, take advantage of all of the sales and coupon sites, A few great storage product companies are Problem Solvers, Tupperware.com
, and Save with our Weekly Super Saver Items
.
The second part of your space would be your computer- what I mean by this is how your store documents and programs. Try to sit down one day and make everything accessible, maybe add your most used bookmarks, like your blog login page and paypal to the bookmark toolbar folder on firefox, which will take away the step of opening the bookmarks folder and finding them. Taking advantage of tabbed browsing, and making sure you have shortcuts to your most used applications handy, so you don’t have to keep opening the start menu, then programs, etc. I use my task bar quick start for those programs like the calculator, notepad, firefox, etc. Also having your documents all organized will help save time, make sure you know where you save things, to avoid the hassle of finding them later. It is your computer, and there are so many options available to make it more efficent for you, take advantage of those options.

One of the best things I did was delete everything I dont need for work of my computer.
Means that when I am at the computer the most appealing thing to do is work because other things are not an option.
That sound like a GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing, I am sure that would help a lot!
