So, you have a blog, but no one is reading it yet. It might be time to start promoting your blog then. This series will walk you through the steps of Blog Promotion, from the beginning. There is alot to cover so I am breaking each step into articles. I plan on covering the following;
- Make your site easily accessible and readable by search engines; from determining the best keywords to use, meta tags, and how to submit to the different engines.
- How and why to exchange links with other bloggers
- Creating and optimizing your RSS feeds and submitting to the various RSS directories
- How to self promote using your friends, message boards, and contacts.
- Using Memes, web Rings, and Text ad Networks to your advantage
- What is Guest Blogging and how it can help your blog
- Making the best of comments, getting more, and responding quickly
- How to best analyze your stats log and make changes and link requests accordingly
That is just some of the articles to come, if you have an addition or a question, feel free to let me know! We will be covering alot of ground in the blog promotion field and taking my blog along for the ride.
