I recently signed up with AuctionAds to see how well they work as a secondary income model. I have yet to use them on my sites, as I don’t think they would do well on either of the sites I have currently. But I will be using them on a niche site. The concept is simple, you pick some keywords and they display ebay auction on your site. If a person clicks on the ad and takes action, be it winning a bid, new user registration, or even buy-it-now you are paid the commission. They pay 100% of the ebay commission revenue. Ebays commission varies, here is a quote from the EBay site;
Earn between 50% and 75% of eBay’s Revenue (not item sale price) on Winning Bids or Buy It Now (BIN) transactions.
Earn between $25.00 and $35.00 for each new eBay active user (ACRU)
Sounds pretty good huh? Say you are running a product review site, offering up reviews on digital cameras; if you have good content, not an overload of ads, and a decent amount of traffic. You could potentially make alot of money. Just be sure to target your keywords well when setting up ads, this way you get a good amount of matched products. Below is an example of an ad I created using the keywords- books, budgeting
All in all, this seems like a great way for a niche website to earn some extra income. For those of you who have been using Auction adds as blog income, what have been your results?

The wonderful dream last night got me thinking, what would I want in an office? Lot’s of things come to mind, but the idea of having a single list to work towards makes me feel better. So I have an idea, head on over to this office furniture site and act like you have all the money in the world, pick out what you would want in an office, save the pictures and price and add them all to a wordpress document or something, then print it and hang it somewhere to remind you everyday of your goal. You could do this with home buying as well, print off your favorite one and hang it! It will be something to remind you of the goal, and help you not stray far from it.

Making the decision to sell WordPress Reworked has been a great decision. It is like a weight off of my shoulders. I had a dream last night about the future, I hope! I was working from home as a full time blogger, only I had finally figured it out, and was making great money. My husband was making about 2 times the amount he is making now, and we lived in this beautiful house! I had my own bathroom with a big tub and a separate office with the most beautiful modern office furniture you could imagine. A oak desk and pretty paint, everything you could want in an office. The whole place was pretty though, it was like a fantasy!
I am choosing to think that is meant something, that now that I have less to focus on I can succeed at one thing. What do you think?
