Insurance Woes

Right now, we use Direct for our car insurance, we only have PIP (the minimum required by law) and we pay 99.00 a month for it. Even when we go to compare car insurance we get quotes that are over $150 for even a little bit over the minimum! Joseph (my husband) just turned 24, and I think the reduced rate starts at 25… or maybe 24, I cant remember. Hopefully soon! It is scary to know how bad we will be hurt financially if we wreck, granted the other driver would be covered with the Liability, but not us or our car. :-(

Speaking of insurance, I found a life insurance company that will only charge us 21.00 a month for both Me and Joseph to be covered, i think the total coverage was 100,000 each. But because of Joseph’s weight (he is 6′4 ans 330lbs) they will only cover him for accidental death. (I guess thats because a heart attack is not considered ‘accidental’ and that is what an overweight person is likely to die from). I have also been looking into Home insurance , well, I guess it would be called renters insurance, but all through the same company. We have 2 nice computers, 3 big televisions, and a ton of other mics things, and it would be nice to have them insured, in case of a flood, hurricane, tree falling, fire, robbery, etc. But I am having a hard time finding a company that will cover theings in a mobile home. :-(
