If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
If you’re like me, you read a lot of blogs. I use Net Vibes as a reader. I also like going to Digg, but al also liking the site Thoof, forpersonalized news. You sign up for a free account and set your preferences, then the more you read, the more it is personalized. If and when a story pops up that you are not interested in, you simply click not interested.
You can also correct the description, tags, etc. Then other users vote on if the changes are needed. You can vote on other people’s changes as well, if there is a * next to the link ‘improve’. I can see this growing very quickly, with the amount of advertising and the features. If digg takes the idea of allowing improvements that would be nice. I like being able to choose what it shows for me, for instance, I my goal is for it to only show stories on web design, SEO, funny jokes and Videos. I see that in order to do then I have to rate a few that are showing up, until it is narrowed down enough to see what I want to see.
I am liking the idea though, the only request I could make at this point is to be able to do some sort of initial set up, being able to enter in certain tags or something to start with.
