Thanks for the comment Kyle, I think the big difference in ebay's program and auction ads program is that auction ads handles all of the variables that keep you from getting paid. I have heard they are more reliable than ebay because they deal on such a bulk order, they don't have to answer those pesky little questions that you or I would have. I like the idea that you can have the context keyword links, takes a lot of the work away!

I didn't know about the Auction Ads program. I have used ebay's affiliate program with the buildanichestore script. Its done okay, but I think there are a lot of variables that affect getting the commission.

Yes, hopefully! Have you tried adsense in the same spot? Maybe get a program to alternate the auction ads and adsense in the same location and see what you do better on. Adsense is never as targeted, but it would be a good experiment! :-)

I have been using Auction Ads on my wedding blog for the past three weeks. So far, it is getting a great click through rate, but no sales. I think it is a great idea, but you have to keep in mind that you are sending people to auctions, so there is less of a chance of them buying (and thus giving you a commission), since they could easily lose the auction. Hopefully, we will all see some sales in the near future, though!
