Making a Niche Blog

I have been considering starting another blog, a kind of experiment really. To see what Niche blogging is all about. I am not sure what about just yet, or even when. I have alot of catching up to do on my other projects before I can start this. I am thinking something along the lines of marriage and fighting. Just a blog to talk about fighting, results, jokes, everything marriage related- like a blog written about “Love and Marriage” - wait or was it Family and Marriage? It has been so long since I watched it, anyway, the one with All and Peggy.

I like this idea for multiple reasons, one, I am married, so i have that, two, we fight alot - so I would have plenty of material, three, I have been married 3 times now, so I have the experience with it NOT working out, …

New theme is live!

Ok everyone, here is is, if you seeing this on RSS you need to click on over! I have been working on this theme forever it seems! This has definitely been the most challenging theme to customize. I still have some minor tweaks that I couldn’t do on the testing server, but other than that, we are good to go. Please comment and let me know what you think, if there should be any changes, etc. And if you know how to center this theme, that would be most helpful! :-)

BP and the media

The Chicago Tribune wrote an article about BP recently that of course messed up the facts, I am so tired of the media messing things up, while I am not going to get on a terrible political rant about what I think is wrong or right, I AM going to help BP out by correcting some mistakes. It is pitiful to see a credible news source do things like this.

Be sure to read the BP Fact sheet to read all of the info, I am only going to touch on a few points here, the ones I feel are most important. For one, they only send treated water into Lake Michigan, not sludge and pollutants- I mean come on, do you REALLY expect a huge company like BP to make such a serious mistake, people are watching their every move! The financial Guru

I received a great post by Mark over at his financial blog about how to best spend my income. He mentioned some great ideas, and I learned alot in his post on Unique Ways to save money. One of the things we did over the weekend was get some RFI Shielding type stuff from Joseph’s work and seal off all of the windows. That should save us a ton of money in electricity!
