What are your goals?

August 7, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Business Advice

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

goalsI wanted to write a post that would get people thinking. I got the inspiration from Darren’s post asking his readers if they have Blog Goals. I think that by setting some concrete goals for ourselves, we will be less likely to burn out. For instance, in one of the Blog Mastermind audios, Yaro suggest setting marketing goal numbers, otherwise we will be constantly working on marketing and never enjoying the progress. While you never need to stop marketing in some fashion, you need to stop and realize you have gotten somewhere.

So, I am asking you, what are your goals right now? What would you like to have within 6 months? It can be income earned, RSS subscribers, daily visitors, personal goals, etc. Anything that you would like to have completed or hit a target number in six months. I will start with mine;

In 6 months I would like to have 500 feed subscribers (128 subscribers at this time)
I would like to have at least 300 unique daily visitors.
I would love to have my new niche blog up and running and getting at least 100 visitors a day.
I would like to be back down to 150lbs.
I would like to be able to earn a semi steady income blogging full time and telecommuting part time.
I would like to write and publish a e-book.
It would be great if I can take me and Joseph to south Florida, I have never been to the keys! And they have cheap Florida rental vacation places…. all depends on money! LOL

That is all I can think of right now. Feel free to leave your goals in a comment, or write a post with them. We can all hold each other accountable. I am adding this post to my Calendar, so in 6 months we can revisit it. I cant wait to see some of your goals.

Great goals. I have been reading your blog for a while and I think this is the first time I am leaving a comment.

Goals for my blog, before the end of this year I would like: (1) 100 subscribers, (2) 500+ page view per day, and (3) technorati authority of 100.

I think this is within my reach. I started my blog about 3 weeks ago, I currently have 30 subscribers, 100+ page view per day, and techno authority of 28. Not too bad I think.

Hi Eve, nice goals and nice website too (I’m first time there). As I have more blogs I have different goals for each of them, but I know that my commom goal for all of them is to do them better and do my best for them.
You know, blogs are our small childrens we must take care of them :-)
