Recycle old Cell phones- Business Opp?

cell for cashThis post is being sponsored by a new company, CellForCash.com to get the service out there and gain customers. They are a company that will buy your old cell phone from you, for anywhere between four dollars and three hundred dollars per phone. Once they get the phone they will then recycle your cell phone and save the earth. :-)

I may not have an opinion on the whole global warming thing, I just don’t watch enough news to form a real opinion, (I would rather NOT have an opinion than to have an opinion I cant back up with knowledge.) Anyway, regardless of how you feel about Global Warming, you should still care about trash and energy conservation, if for no other reason than to keep it clean and cheap!

You can check out their page on “Why should I recycle my cell phone?” there are a lot of facts and figures on there about the service. Including some fun facts at the very bottom.

Now why did I say this could be a business opp? Well for one, they have a referral program where you can make 5.00 a referral, so there is the marketing part of it. Also, you can go to the salvation army, thrift stores, and flea markets and find a TON of cellphones, sometimes as vheap as 50 cents. Some people collect bottles to bring in and exchange for money, why not phones? The most successful people in this will be the ones that can find somewhere with a large number of cellphones for cheap.

Take a trip this weekend to the local flea market and see what they have, you may be surprised with the variety and what you can sell online, don’t limit it to cell phones, keep an eye out for anything you can buy in bulk for cheap and that may resell well online.

Thanks for that hint! I have a whole bunch of old cellphones at home. I’ll try to make them to money.
