Setting Up a Sales Site

shopping cartIn the next few days I am going to be writing a very detailed post taking you step by stem into creating a website to sell your products on. We will be using some variety of this shopping cart software or another option. What your task is, if you want to ride along with us is to research different shopping car software, like the one linked above, Mals-ecommerce, paypal shopping cart, etc. Some are free, some are paid, and only you can decide if you would like to pay for the shopping cart. Ecommerce software can get confusing, but don’t worry about picking one, when we do the step by step set up I will be using a free cart as an example during the demos, so you will be fine.

I will also be giving plenty of ideas of what to sell, from various wholesale companies to your own creations. So another assignment to help you have a leg up on the tutorial is to brainstorm what you may want to sell, and search for the item + wholesale and see what comes up. (By that I mean enter this into the search box : your idea + wholesale ) this way you can see what, if any wholesale companies carry the item you want to sell.

The post will be done hopefully by the end of the week, so be sure to subscribe to my feed to be notified of the article when I post it. You can also sign up with your email address to get the post emailed to you.
