If you have a home office, it is likely that you have some changes in mind, maybe more cabinets, desk space, a shelf, etc. Instead of spending a ton of money and visit a site like this one that helps you learn how to build wood cabinetsor have your husband do it! They even have a bunch of DVD’s that you can get, and you know what I like to say, knowledge is power.
Even if you don’t build something now, just knowing how to do it will give you more life experience should you ever need it, maybe helping a friend, or stranded on a desert island…. ok, that is a bit far fetched, but you get the point. For instance, while I don’t have to change a tire, lucky me, I know how just in case I ever have to, my ex-boyfriend showed me a lot about auto mechanics, I even changed a fuel filter once! If you ever met me you would see why that is so cool, I am so not a ‘handy’ person, but I know how to be if I had to, you know?
I would love a new bookcase, I have one now with the bottom shelf broken, so there is a 3 foot space I cant use, and the book case itself is only about 5 ft high, I want one that is like six or seven feet, lots of storage! I also need a new printer stand and I have been asking joseph to see about putting something under the desk to try to raise it about 3 inches, it is a bit too low for me and my chair!
