MyBlogLog Contest - Grow Your Community!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I’ve just recently started using MyBlogLog.com despite the fact that my account was supposedly registered in 1999! I’ve been playing around with it and was quite pleased to see that Eve had grown a solid community for this blog. I’d like to thank everyone reading this who has joined or who plans on joining.
It’s a great feeling for any blogger to see an increasing community of people interested to hear “their voice” amongst the constant overwhelming noise in the blogosphere. Although communities offer no direct financial benefit they do a lot for getting the word “out there”. They also have messaging features and can do wonders for the morale of the blogger in question. Even simple comments help reassure you that you’re blog is getting read and as a result that will fuel you to blog more and hopefully better. This is one of those times where financial incentives aren’t a large motivator.
Since mybloglog is a massive community and it’s offering a lot of interesting incentives for the person who can grow their community the most over a set time frame. This contest began on November 8th and ends November 30th 2007. There is still LOTS of time to get into this competition; these are the current standings.
That being said if any of these communities interest you please join:
1) HomebizBlogger - Growing by the day.
2) Bloggeries Blog Reviews - New Community but a very established blog.
If you don’t already have a mybloglog account, I’d recommend you register. Great way to get some exposure when you’re starting out or established. I’ll probably write an in-depth post about using mybloglog in the future. In the meantime if you don’t already have a community I’d recommend you consider starting one. You have no idea how it will do out unless you try.
