Sell Cruises From Your Home

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I was browsing through one of the many home based business magazines I purchased looking for some interesting stories. I found something that could potentially be interesting to some of you; particularly as winter is approaching.

Ever thought of selling cruises from your home? All you need is internet access, a telephone and $495 initiation fee + $49 materials fee to get access and begin competing in an estimated $11,000,000,000 a year industry. (Yes that is 11 billion!) The only catch that I noticed was that you need to go to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a one week formal training. If this interests you the week long training could be a great opportunity to learn some skills relevant to this niche that are transferable to any other type of sales.

The name of the company is Cruises …

Wake Up Call! It’s 5AM!

November 12, 2007 | Author: Rob | Filed under: Time Management, What I am Doing

Good morning blogosphere!
It is 5am eastern standard time and I’m already in my office. Albeit a short commute I’m ready to work and have ~3 hours of time slotted to my online businesses before my work week even begins! I enjoy getting up at 5am because it gives me the piece of mind while sleeping that I’ll have time to do anything I need to before my day starts. Gone are the days of aimlessly clicking around until 2am trying to figure something out or come up with some genius content; chances are it’s just not going to happen.
When you are working late night in my opinion you are trying to accomplish stuff before bed but you feel like you’re up against the 8 ball. You only have say 1 hour left in your day and want to get things done. Flip side is waking up super early. I …

Become a Mystery Shopper. Really!

November 11, 2007 | Author: Rob | Filed under: Working at Home

We’ve all heard of mystery shoppers before and often have the fantasy of going into the fanciest restaurants and hotels, being pampered and then reporting back. The reality of the matter is that mystery shopping does exist but for the most part it is no where near as glamorous. If you love shopping why not do it from time to time and get paid?

My family and I were driving through Vermont to visit relatives when we decided to pull over for some gas and ended up visiting McDonald’s. In line I overheard the ladies in front of me discussing mystery shopping. I joined in the conversation and got the low down on mystery shopping as well as the websites to apply at.

There is a whole industry on the internet of ranking for “mystery shopper” keyword and selling you the information of companies that are hiring. …

Stop Selling Once It’s Sold!

November 9, 2007 | Author: Rob | Filed under: Business Advice

If you have the gift of gab sales are a lot easier both on and off-line. Communications skills are not a matter of black and white you have it or you don’t. Everyone is in the gray area ranging from having very little to lots. Being able to sell someone by highlighting benefits of a product or service and initiating an emotional attachment to it is a skill; a very lucrative one.

This skill like many however is double edged; the exact qualities that can get you the sale are the exact qualities that can ruin it. The ability to make someone realize your point of view or benefits to what you are selling often comes with a certain enthusiasm and intensity that isn’t always easy to shut off. It is an art knowing when you’ve successfully sold or convinced someone and it’s time to stop selling.

Once the person …

HomeBizBlogger Has Been Sold!

November 9, 2007 | Author: Rob | Filed under: Uncategorized

Hello Everyone!

My name is Rob and I just recently acquired this blog and am looking forward to bringing it to a whole new level. I must admit I have my work cut out for me as Eve did an absolutely terrific job on this fantastic resource. I am however incredibly enthusiastic about the acquisition.

Good things don’t stick around. The moment I saw this blog was for sale I knew I had to have it.

It’s important to have strong reasons to want to make money at home. It is not for everyone and it does require work. The main difference is you need to be self motivated and realize that the work is very different. It can be time consuming but offers the possibility of a passive income; the reason most of us are here I would assume! Why trade labor for money everyday when you can work smart today …
