Sivatar – Share Your Site Avatar With The World!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Running a blog or website for monetary gains can be a rollercoaster of ups and downs. You crank out new and interesting content for the world to hear frequently if not daily – yet it all too often falls on deaf ears! Then you turn to the latest social networking and book marking sites like: Digg, StumbleUpon, and MyBlogLog to get exposure. But creating and maintaining THOSE profiles can sometimes be more work than updating your own blog! Furthermore just making an account on a popular social networking a site in no way insures you traffic…

That’s where Sivatar comes in…

Sivatar is a new and exciting social network that I happened to find that allows webmasters to quickly and easily share their content with the world through their avatars.

Avatars (aka small pictures) are everywhere – Blogs, Social Networks, Forums, etc. They’re a way to personalize you in the virtual world. They represent your brand, image, profile – and now they can also represent your website or blog.

By heading over to Sivatar you can join the network in a matter of seconds. There’s no usernames, passwords and profiles to maintain. All you need is your avatar and a direct link to your website. Once you’re apart of the network, you can promote yourself in the chat area – talk about your latest blog post, product, contest – anything! The chat is incredibly easy to use and is more like an IM service then a traditional forum. Also the busiest chat members have their avatars displayed on the front page of the site. You’re also encouraged to explore and promote other Sivatar members. The more you promote others, the more likely you are to be promoted. Like the saying goes in life “the more you give the more you get.”

I think Sivatar is a great promotional tool for bloggers among others. It’s also an excellent place to kick back and explore the web visually. That’s my personally favorite part. When I’m bored I just like clicking on interesting things. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. What does your avatar say about your online presence? If you don’t have one yet what are you waiting for? If you do have one and you don’t feel it represents you; now is the time to start making a new one!

When you have something new to promote, or are just tired of the same old sites and feel like expanding your circle on the internet – Sivatar should be a consideration for your next destination.

I signed up for this service yesterday and made about 20 post in the forum. It took no time at all and I’ve already seen some traffic. When you are starting out you need exposure and I believe that Sivatar is a great resource for delivering that free.

So if you have a few minutes, upload your avatar and check it out; the amount of traffic you receive for the amount of time it takes to signup is well worth it in my opinion.
