New Years Resolutions and Goals

Nothing like the pressure of a new year to get your online efforts kick started and some strides in the right direction in other parts of your life. As per usual I have many goals for this year and I have 365 opportunities to make them a reality.

I’m not going to bore you with all of mine however I would like to do more niche marketing and really diversify my online income across numerous sites and streams. I’d also like to increase Adsense and other contextual advertising revenue by targeting higher ranking keywords in some under developed or emerging niches.

Basically I’d like to make 2008 the year of research and less action. With overwhelming amounts of information at our fingertips it’s important to plan, plan and plan before beginning anything. It’s easy to waste your time doing things you won’t follow through with because you haven’t thoroughly thought them out. This wastes your potential because you could be researching a larger plan that has larger rewards for less work in the long run. It also helps avoid the burnout which is never productive under even the best of circumstances.

Wishing you all the best in 2008!
