Yes Project Wonderful is getting expensive but that’s good news for you as a publisher and bad news for you as an advertiser. I went away for 2 days hence no posting; and came back to see that my campaign had 1 lousy bid on it. I’m looking for sites with blog related keywords, 500+ page views a day and 125×125 or 468×60 advertising boxes.

So I checked it out and said I’m gonna spend some $$$ so I jumped it from .15 to .25. No ads matched so I boosted $.40 a day for those keywords. Believe it or not still nothing. I won’t go any higher but it just goes to show how fast this program is catching on. A week ago I was on 100-200 sites as high bidder and today for the same money I am on NONE!

Some interesting proof is my ad box. I may just have an expensive bidder that I’ve found who is here short time testing the waters or I’m making $30+ a month from the box already. When I left that box read $0.03; not $1.2.

I tried running 3 125×125 on my forum but quit it because I was getting only getting $0.6 a day compared to running one at $.5. Who knows where it would be now or would it be higher but still equally spread?

If you are going to run project wonderful I still believe you should start it slow; I’m seeing many blogs plastered with them and when abused it cheapens the blog.

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend and good luck marketing!

EDIT: Sure enough right after I post this I wake up and the top bidders have changed and dropped $0.90. Either way this is happening everywhere I’ve noticed. Bigger fluctuations.
