Entrecard + Project Wonderful: Serious Traffic

February 17, 2008 | Author: Rob | Filed under: SEO and Marketing

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Alright I’m going to share with you the secret I’ve been using lately to get my blog directory resource particularly the forum absolutely blowing up traffic wise. Simply stated it’s the combo of entrecard and project wonderful. Sit back take a seat grab some coffee; a smoke if so inclined turn on some music and read how you can spend very little to get great results on this thing we call the internet.

entrecard and project wonderful traffic storm

Basically I’ve discussed Entrecard before and you all know I’ve discussed Project Wonderful before. On their own both are very good ways to introduce your site to new users on the web. Typically when you add 1 + 1 you get 2. Not here. When you add these two features together and use them properly there is a lot of traffic to be had for cheap cheap cheap!

Some of you more loyal readers are probably thinking; spit it out already Rob. Since you asked here it is:

1) Put your Entrecard in a VERY visible place on your blog / site. Click here to see where mine is. (will increase drops)

2) To get going with Entrecard find a blog with entrecard and just drop then click on the image, drop then click on the image. Do this until you get to a blog that has it’s own image in it’s card holder and stop. (It’s a dead end anyways).

3) Whenever anyone comes to your blog and drops if you don’t recognize the card send them a letter that explains you’ve been to their site dropped your card enjoyed it and would like to thank them for dropping on you and while you’re at it make sure you drop the URL to the site you’re promoting to invite them to action something. (This works trust me).

4) When you are on the blog that you discovered by them dropping on you in step 3 look for a project wonderful box. Buy it up!! I’m not going to say how much I bid because well others would see my ad and put $0.10 higher but put a good bid in and set it for a few months then forget it.

5) Run a Project Wonderful campaign! Put in terms relevant to your blog; specify the other variables and run it! I have it set for $8/day and it’s bidding on 70 blogs that get over 100 page views a day. (It was MUCH better as you know if you’ve been reading but you gotta change with the times.)

6) If you advertise on someone’s blog and you get a good cost per click through entrecard send them a direct message and ask if you can buy advertising on their blog if they don’t have PW. Also ask them to add PW so you can start bidding on it. I’ve done this several times and I highly recommend it.

7) When buying advertising on entrecard get out of your niche! Let’s say you’re in making money online. You think advertising on other sites of similar caliber will bring you new members who will action things!? ROFL! Most people at money making blogs are looking to make money and are selfish to some extent. If you are going to make money by showing OTHERS how to make money you need to show people who are new to it not others who are trying to do the same thing have already signed up to all the affiliate programs you’re promoting and think themselves to be masters. Some of the best conversions for my campaign have been from personal diary sites, personal blogs etc… (I’m not saying anymore!)

There are other things you can do as well but the main point of this is to emphasize visiting a NEW BLOG you have never seen before and instead of just dropping your card for the webmaster start advertising on their blog directly so that all of their readers will now become AWARE that your blog exists and some will even click through. Also have many different color banners and try and chose banners that CONTRAST with the overall theme. I like my ads to STAND OUT on someone else’s site.

I’ve increased traffic to all parts of the site but mainly the blog forum in this charge and I’m seeing spectacular results at a cost of roughly ~10-15$ a day. In the past I’ve paid for other traffic services and lost my shirt. I would like to stress at this point that combined both of these are great but alone they also work well. The majority of my entrecard visits come from organic use of the system.

Hey man I don’t want to call you Bloggeries or admin but I was just on your site. You should be pretty proud but here’s my problem you have a lot of tools,a lot of knowledge to learn on there. But not having any privies and all that is just going to loose a lot of people. It basically becomes reading everyones else’s promotions.
Anyway I’m a real person and maybe try that phone verification open it up and then if someone violates KILL the acct.Web 3.0 is right around the corner.People are spoiled and they want it free and they want it now.
You sharing adsense is cool and I’m going to stick around, but I’d like the gate to be open I tried typing something and caught alot of NO’s on their.I know security is always a concern but you got enough skills
to handle that So what ever your name is I’ll be keeping my eye on you.ROB just saw it on the bottom
