Blog Forum Paying Members to Refer Members

What a concept; paying members to refer members. After all an online community is nothing without it’s members so why not pay those who already like the service to spread the word and make it better?

Bloggeries Blog Forum Refer a Friend Get Paid

I was thinking the other day about how I wanted to increase membership at my blog forum and figured what better way then to pay the membership. The forum already has a 50/50 adsense revenue share so I thought this would be in keeping with our pay the members mantra and hopefully bring solid referrals as opposed to empty visits which is all to common on most advertising campaigns.

For the first month it’s going to be a monthly contest. After that it may become bi-weekly. I just want to get the word out originally so I believe 1 month is the perfect time for that. Basically you can put up a banner or writ ea blog post or just mention it to a friend and in the URL it has your referrer ID. That or they can manually enter your username as the person who referred them when the register. Below are the first month’s prizes.

Monthly Prize Payouts:

#1) $30 USD in Paypal + 2500 Entrecard credits
#2) $25 USD in Paypal + 1000 Entrecard credits
#3) $20 USD in Paypal
#4) Bloggeries Blog Review
#5) 1000 EC credits + sticky in Show off Your Blog for 1 month
#6) Sticky in Show off Your Blog for 2 weeks

Another cool thing is that the more members the forum has the more traffic will come through your signature links and the healthier the discussion and marketplace will be.

If you are a member please visit this thread and see for yourself; if you aren’t a member why not get involved in a community that will pay you to help it grow? If that sounds good to you … Register Today.

Happy Easter Everyone

Wait, isn’t this just like a contest? For some reason, I thought you was actually going to just pay people per referral or something like that.

Hi Jay,

It is sorta like a contest. People with most referrals do get paid cash but only the top 6 get something. If this has a good return I’m going to make a pre-qualified affiliate team where I will pay per referral; just open to abuse so have to be careful.
