Finally at some point yesterday what should of kicked in a while ago became clear as day. For my blog forum the best affiliates I can think of are domain registration and web hosting.
First let me point out that Bloggeries is currently running on HostGator hosting with a domain registered through GoDaddy. I had signed up for the GoDaddy affiliate program a while ago but never really gave it a chance; signed up for Hostgator yesterday. I feel good about promoting both of these services as I use both of them and have never had a problem. I’ve never had to contact hostgator for any issues since the inception of my account and if I did they have 24/7 toll free tech support.
Hostgator has a pretty awesome affiliate program. I like how you get paid $50 a referral and the more you refer the more money you can make. Sending 20 new members a month equates to $125 a referral and $2500US a month.
Make up to $125 per sale! ![]()

The more you send the more you make!
We give the best returns on the Internet!
Example: If you send us 20 sign-ups in any month you will get $125×20 = $2500
Obviously the goal is for 20+ a month but even 6-10 or 11-19 have a very appealing payout as well. My only qualms with this program is that it’s a 60 day hold before they pay.(Monthly) I can understand why and the only other issue is that it’s a one time payout. Imagine a residual payment of say 10-33% of lifetime usage. Now we’re talking…If I didn’t already have positive experiences with HostGator I probably would of searched for a residual payment plan.
GoDaddy is a great domain registration service and it also has hosting and offers 20% commission and up to 105$ a sale for hosting. I’ve heard decent things about hosting at Godaddy but have only ever used them as a domain registrar.
I’ve already added those 125x ads to the forum header and started a thread about getting paid to switch blog hosts with Bloggeries where I pay trusted members of the forum or friends to transfer so we both profit from it.
Once this place is no longer run of site I’ll have the banners up on the sidebar and may even begin blogging about blog hosting some more.
If you haven’t found a good product for your traffic I suggest you spend some time looking and ultimately if you can find one with residuals regardless of one time payout size when possible.

Rob,
Go through CJ (www.cj.com) and you get paid $100 for every single referral you make of Hostgator (from the start).
Good luck,
Jason
