Habits and routines are ultimately what dominate most of us. Most of things we do are on autopilot because they are so deeply ingrained. The irony of habits is that they can literally make or break you.
For this 30 day blogging challenge I’ve been waking up and first thing writing a blog post normally in the wee hours of the morning. I get it out of the way then get into my net “routine”. Once I”m in that routine it’s hard to break away from all the things going on and spend the time to sit down and write a quality post.
Today I got off to a much different start and if I hadn’t really focused on making this post now the day would of just drifted by in my routine. The beauty of it is if I wake up on time and get to it making bloggeries is hardly a chore it’s actually my morning routine believe it or not.
If you have a bad habit or want to fix one you have to spend alot of conscience effort to reform your subconscious thinking patterns. It can be done just watch what routines you’re in and if they aren’t working for you the sooner you switch them the better. Be prepared for effort though as you will need to expend some if you consciously want to change what you do without thought subconsciously.
So look at your habits and make sure they are working for you towards your ultimate goal and not draining / preventing you from getting there. Your body doesn’t know what’s positive and what’s negative it just knows it’s habits. Picking them and creating / changing them is all up to you!
