Friendly Warning About Using Flickr for Photos
| April 13th, 2008I’m sure many of you are aware of “Flickr“. It is a very popular photo / image hosting service that many use.
I’ll let you hear what happened from the horses mouth why you should be careful using flickr. For those of you who are too busy to read the link the summary is if you host all your images on flickr; they will get all the google / yahoo and msn image traffic that could of been going to your blog.
If you just want to host some images to share with friends that is one thing; if you are building a blog / website and these are relevant photos you will be publishing you may want to rethink using a public photo sharing host. Ever wonder how they get SOOOO much traffic?
