I love these Prepaid Debit / Credit Cards. When you’re running a small business most banks want a $1000 safety deposit in order to give you a credit card. We all know that doing business without a credit card is difficult to say the least. Also if you’re even remotely like me you want to keep things 100% separate because if you don’t it’s easy to lose track of exactly what you’ve spent.
This particular card can be ordered in under 1 minute. (Seriously). You can also load up to $10,000 if you so choose.
Even if you aren’t running a business as we speak these prepaid debit / credit cards are a brilliant idea if you have trouble managing your money. With these cards you can only spend what you have. No risk of running a balance. It’s also great for someone who has no credit or horrible credit. Now you have a credit card and don’t have to worry about your credit history.
I tried to order something similar in Canada recently but they were sold out. Either way I’m a big fan of these and I recommend you look into it if you fit any of the characteristics mentioned above.
Keep working from home!
Rob

Green Dot is a better deal by far. The monthly fee is only $5.95 rather than $9.95 + $5.95 extra if you *don’t* use the card. that “maintenance fee” tells me they make big bucks off of people who just use the card once in awhile.
they don’t even list their reload fees or minimum/maximum amounts. green dot is $4.95 for $500.
all these prepaid debit card companies are in the business of exploiting the credit-challenged with financial instruments that cost hundreds of dollars a year. i don’t think these people are that much worse than Green Dot, but i do think they’re worse, if nothing else because of those maintenance fees.
Thanks for the comment dotlizard.
I’m not sure about those other ones but will look into it. I did notice the inactivity fee which could be annoying if you only use it every 90 days or so. It’s easy to incorporate though and as long as you have one routine bill that automatically gets charged you can totally avoid the inactivity fees.
Ultimately it’s for 3 applications. a) starting a small business (Why I mentioned it here) b) credit challenged and c) people who don’t want to become credit challenged
Thanks!

Pre paid credit cards are hot. I use them all the time for this like PPC, and to pay for other advertising.
This is because my debit card in the uk does not work in most online places which kind of sucks big time
But the pre paid visa works fine hehe.
Also, you can use pre paid visas to register new google adword acounts to get the free $25 bonus credit *TIP*
Wow! Нормально!
