It’s Currency Conversion Time!!
| October 22nd, 2008Quick short bloggery straight to the point today. If you do business in $US I urge you to check your current exchange rate. In Canada $1US = $1.24CDN right now. That’s massive. I remember the LONGEST time trying to convert money and either losing on the conversion or having such a small gain it was negligible.

Check your accounts both business and personal; this could very well be a GREAT time to convert some cash. I jumped on this bandwagon last week when it was at ~1.15 conversion which I’m still happy with. I would be happier if I had gamble and you might be extremely happy if you haven’t been paying attention and check out the rates today.
That’s about it; keep working hard and hopefully from home! (Wherever that is).

there are a ton of tools to help you currency convert online…Google can do it for your quickly and efficiently!
When I left paid employment (for non-paid self-employment, but that’s another story) I could count that whatever money I did occasionally earn, I would get to keep after conversion with very little being removed by taxes. A client would by $500, I knew I had close to $500 to spend. Then the $@&!* dollar forgot about gravity and kept floating upward, so that if I made $500, I really would have not much more than $300 to spend once taxes were paid.
maybe this was a good thing. Maybe it forced me to make more money. And if the dollar falls again, maybe I’ll benefit from all that resistance training.
Fantastic the euro, finally the euro managed to get above 1.30.
