The Member Banned from the forum because he “crossed paths with Franco.” Says:

Don't flatter yourself Franko, Gypsy was just saving her own Axx!

Hard to believe this Kirk Knapp of TAT international is the same K.A. Knapp & Co. one who claims to be the King of Customer Service.

I have to agree, I am sooooo happy I didn't fall for all the Hype around the "Masters Program" I have spent enough time "attempting" to fix my orders from TAT International time is money in my world. I am simply amazed that TAT International has not addressed the problems to the forum members but IMHO they are no longer about TATS they are about HYPE and making THEIR million lol they are not there for the consumer....

Kirk what happened? Kirk you really really need to address all this, HONESTLY not with your HYPE you will win more customers than you have lost if you just back up and FIX IT instead of making a 200% markup in your shipping costs.

Kirk, TAT store your really do need to listen to your members. Losing a couple of customers is not going to hurt you however I am hard pressed to believe that you are sustaining a customer base with all the troubles.

NOW I am going to go call them and find out where my stencils are that I ordered 2 weeks ago are..... as much as I like their stencils this is my last order with them...... never again.......

To all the newbies out there:
DO YOUR HOMEWORK contrary to popular belief this is NOT an inexpensive business to get into. Can you make money sure, can you support yourself with it depends.....

Obviously you are either a new customer that is still under Kirks spell or you are the only lucky customer Kirk has had with no problems.

The BUMPS in the road started at least a year and a half ago as the forum shows when Kirk wrote a letter addressing issues taking place at the time saying they would be corrected. Then the pp went on backorder in May '08 by Aug '08 there were complaints about the Duratat ink. All of these issues are documented on the forum with their responses from TAT (when there was one). Here we are a YEAR later with the same issues and complaints resurfacing on the forum.

These comments do not even include the fact that tatstores' multi-airbrushes are junk! Why in the world a company would sell airbrushes that are difficult to use to someone that has never touched an airbrush I don't know. Oh, yes I do know. Because anyone that has ever airbrushed would know that the airbrushes are junk and would have returned them. Tatstore counts on the fact that people don't know any better.

The people on the forum making these complaints are not new to the forum. They have been long standing members. Other forum members ask them for advice everyday and use the advice given. Why is their word being questioned now when they are saying there is a problem at TAT?

Worse yet why doesn't Kirk listen and actually Do something about it? He is good at saying what you want to hear and making promises but not so good on following thru on those promises. He is even better at getting others around him to do what he wants them to do.

Follow some of the advice given in these comments. 'Instead of jumping to conclusions do your homework.' Don't jump too quick to defend Kirk. An even better idea would be to do something tatstore is not doing.... listen to the forum members.

Are there any members still in the failed Masters Program? I wonder why....

Wow, what a drag for TAT International. Seems like everyone is coming out of the woodwork to tell how fucked up their products and service are. Glad I don't work there.

I read the "letter" posted by Kirk Knapp and what a basket of BS. You can read between the lines with this guy. You can't provide crappy products and service for more than a year and all of a sudden act like you are the King of Customer Service. This company really sucks if you ask me (and I know you didn't).

Greed is the problem. When you sell quality products and then switch and sell the import stuff their own employees call junk it's a problem. Yes, their costs are lower, but the inconsistency of imported parts may plague them for years to come. Everyone needs to benefit from the sale! The manufacturer, seller, and buyer. When you focus on selling low cost products with very high margins this kind of stuff happens.

This company once good, has gone by the side they are spending more time trying to sign up "affiliates" and produce infomercials to sell a substandard product than fixing the problem. They recently ROYALLY screwed up a small small order 10 stencils!!! they couldn't get it right yet they had no problem charging me $15.00 shipping for 6 stencils you know those little 2 x 3 pieces of plastic? and NO I am not exaggerating they put these little pieces of plastic in a ....ready... BOX !!! this box Measures 6" wide x 8 " long and 6" deep ahhh o.k then they filled it with paper and the little ole stencils where in a white 8.5 x 11 envelope!!! puhleeeese.... AND I was missing stencils on top of that! oh and to answer your questions........they charged me an ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE OF 15.00!!!! WHAT ????? but they did send the missing stencils! The company has become a walking talking infomercial selling substandard equipment and a substandard paint and they have all kinds of excuses it's the "suppliers" ahhhh o.k. stop blaming all your suppliers and deal. I certainly don't tell my customers ahhh the supplier screwed up, stand up and be a business take responsibility for what has happened and stop being a infomercial The staff turnover just has to be a clue regardless of the "ohh well they ALL left because of personal reason nothing to do with us!!!! ahhh o.k I am not stupid and I most certainly can not be the only one thinking this.....This company needs to step back and re-think what they are doing they continue on this path and the next thing will be.... oh we didn't make it because of the economy. These people need to tell the newbies LEARN YOUR EQUIPMENT if you can't trouble shoot your own equipment "in the field" you have no business booking events it just simply hurts the industry as a whole instead of, it's not brain surgery anyone can do it!!! sorry... no I do not agree; not just anyone can do it. They are more concerned with selling the substandard system and "grabbing" the unsuspecting consumer while telling them that they don't need to know anything we will even finance you! it's too bad, too big too fast? or just incompetence? I don't know.

While it is true that there have been bumps in the road as of late, you need only call TAT and ask questions and they will gladly explain whats happening with their equipment. Like some many other companies in these times they also are subject to vendors that don't follow through on their orders, putting TAT International in a bind. Instead od jumping to conclusions, if your truly interested in this company or the terrific business offerings, I would suggest getting information "from the horses mouth". I would also suggest going to the TATstore Forum and reading a letter I received from Kirk Knapp under the "Problems?" thread.

Do your "due diligence" you won't be sorry.
