Welcome to Home Biz Blogger! I’m Rob, a 28 year old Canadian and my dream vocation is from home with a twist. I’d like to travel the world with a laptop and not much else in way of material possessions. I see too many people working from home but living an ordinary life as though they had to be somewhere 5 days a week at 9am. The beauty of working from home and ultimately yourself is that you are free to do what you wish with the most valuable commodity; time. The beauty of working from home is that there are few barriers to entry. Often times you have no products, few over heads and endless possibilities! Why I bought this blog
Seeing how I’ve been passionate about making an income online for years it was only natural. I’m not the type of person who likes building websites or blogs from scratch. I just hate putting so much time into something and than playing the inevitable waiting game to get indexed, ranked, traffic. It’s a long process and patience is a virtue. I prefer to speculate and purchase already established outfits that need some work or as in this case just need someone to take over. My other projects are of a different nature so this is a perfect compliment.
Looking forward to meeting you all and discussing the topic of home based business. In today’s world of employment uncertainty it’s nice to know you can depend on yourself. We are living in interesting times; we are still at the beginning of the internet rush I believe.
How long have people been widely using the internet for e-commerce? I’d assume roughly 10 years is the answer but mostly in the last 5. Where will the web be in 2010, 2015, 2025? The internet is exploding and more and more people will begin to make their income primarily online. Why not be one of these pioneers?
