A walking economy

This guy is walking with his friend, who happens to be a psychologist. He says to this friend, “I’m a walking economy.”

The friend asks, “How so?”

“My hair line is in recession, my stomach is a victim of inflation, and both of these together are putting me into a deep depression!”

I just had to share this, It was the joke of the day on my google home page, too cute! Now to get back to work, I have a list a mile long of things to do today! LOL

How to respond to a rejection

Found this little joke online and wanted to share with you. Be sure to let me know the results if you use this!

The next time you get a rejection letter from a hoped-for employer or publisher, just send them the following:

Dear [name of the person who signed the rejection letter],

Thank you for your letter of [date of the rejection letter]. After careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me [employment with your firm/a contract to publish my book].

This year I have been particularly fortunate in receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising field of candidates, it is impossible for me to accept all refusals. Overheard in the Office - Quotes

I almost forgot about this site, it is an entire site dedicated to funny quotes overheard in offices. Some are kinda silly, but the had a few that really made me laugh. The sad part is that I can almost see myself saying some of the things. I am silly like that, really great at putting my foot in my mouth! Here is one of my favorites;

IT guy #1: What is boxing day, anyway?
IT guy #2: Well, I Wikipedia-ed it and could only gather that it either has to do with killing birds, beating up servant girls, or selling off Christmas stuff nobody wants.

When things get stressful

When working from home, it is super esy to get behind, and once you get behind it is even easier to stress out about being behind so badly that you cant focus on catching up. Take me for example, I was without cable, for almost a week and a half, I have a ton of things to catch up on, but all I can do is remember how behind I am. It is times like this when funny videoscan save your life. :-) My husband and I use them all the time after work, it really helps to de-stress, reset your internal clock, and be able to actually focus on work when your done.
