Smallest Laptop Computer Ever by ASUS

December 10, 2007 | Author: Rob | Filed under: Technology

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Along comes the Asus EEE PC 4G it’s only 7″ wide and weighs less than 1kg! It also comes preloaded with many practical everyday applications. A friend of mine Mike Saf bought it and blogged about it and I’ve had my eye on it since. The beauty of it is according to him that it can fit in the cargo pocket of his pants. The portability is amazing if you were say traveling the world or just bringing it back and forth from school or work.

The standard model comes with 512MB of RAM and has an attractive price tag at ~$399US+tax. If you live in Canada it will be available through The Source by order as of December 12th. You can of course upgrade it to meet your specs if you demand more power. Click here to view a youtube video showing you what this …

Make Life easier with Pre-Built Website Templates

September 28, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Technology

templates.gifI love templates, they make everything so much easier, all you have to edit is the text at a minimum. Although some of them require you to edit a few images to show your menu options and the header, but those changes are suprisingly simple. Check out , they have TONS of templates, from website templates, logos (really good looking Logos- check out the ” CorporateID - 3D” to see what I mean), powerpoint templates, and even word document templates at the bottom of the right side menu.

The word templates are great, I wish I would have had those when I was redoing my moms hospice employee manuals, they are so much better designed than the few on Office online. This is a paid place, but really a good deal, it is a one time payment of 59.95, to access and …

Packet8 Video Phones - Freelance Confrence

September 11, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Technology

phone.pngThis is a sponsored post by Packet 8 Video phones. They are a VOIP site that offers some really neat Video Phone with their service. The first thing I thought of when I got this offer was the freelancers I just hired to do some graphic work, and the possibility of a full custom design to be ordered soon. It would be great to have video capability to talk to the designer. Not only to put a face to the name, but to add in value, I am not exactly thrilled about paying over 500 dollars to someone I have never seen.

However, the more people who get a video phone, like the Packet8 DV326, (see the picture) the more chances of me hiring someone with one. It would definitely be a selling point if a designer had one and was …

IDrive Saved My Rear!

May 31, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Technology

I cannot rave about this company enough! Remember a while back when I was telling you to back up your computer? Well, luckly I followed my own advice and signed up, the other day I was in the process of downloading something and ended up getting a bad virus! Somehow it ate some documents I have been working on, and I am sure I could have figured out how to repair them if I had to, but I was able to just delete it all, anything that could possibly have an infection, and then grab it from the idrive online backupplace I set up. I didn’t loose anything, and instead of freaking out and calling my hubby in a panic (like I usually do when the computer messes up!) I was able to just take a breath- I had everything I needed, program backups, …

Loving the new PC!

May 25, 2007 | Author: Eve Lester | Filed under: Technology

My new computer is so wonderful! It is so much faster than the old on, my husband has the old one now, all we need to do is get him more memory, they have it pretty cheap here for some IBM memory if you needed some! He has it all set up in his game room now, the monitor was actually fine for me until I got this new one, now when I look at his it looks miniature! He will probably end up wanting a new monitor soon too LOL. I will definitely recommend Dell to anyone, they did great by us this time! And the Vista operating system is great, it works perfectly SO FAR LOL. :-)
