I love these Prepaid Debit / Credit Cards. When you’re running a small business most banks want a $1000 safety deposit in order to give you a credit card. We all know that doing business without a credit card is difficult to say the least. Also if you’re even remotely like me you want to keep things 100% separate because if you don’t it’s easy to lose track of exactly what you’ve spent.
This particular card can be ordered in under 1 minute. (Seriously). You can also load up to $10,000 if you so choose.
Even if you aren’t running a business as we speak these prepaid debit / credit cards are a brilliant idea if you have trouble managing your money. With these cards you can only spend what you have. No risk of running a balance. It’s also …
What a Month and a Half!

Wow,
What a lazy blogger I am? I am actually updating because my directory editor told me if I don’t update soon she’ll make this blog inactive. The nerve eh?
What’s really crazy is in the time since I last posted the subscribers have stayed roughly the same which makes me think it’s better to post less but quality then all the time. Also the weird thing is this site has been steadily climbing the “home business blog” keyword on google; go figure!? It’s #2 or #3 out of 68,000,000 results. Who would of thought the “hands off” approach would be so fruitful!?
So what has yours truly been up to in the last month and a half? I’ve been working on the blog directory and blog forum as always. I’ve been on plurk more than my healthy share and I’ve bought a new blog.
Aviva Directory published a new list of the strongest web directories on the internet. …
TOP 10 Yay PLURK Nay TWITTER Reasons

Plurk is rocking the social media scene of late and for good reason! Twitter is cool and I’m sure there will be many other twitter clones but to label Plurk a clone is simply outrageous. Looking back on that last sentence I wrote would you believe I signed up for Plurk almost exactly 24 hours ago?
Plurk fittingly has peace love unity and respect written all over it from the get go but that’s enough of the hippy stuff. Doesn’t matter whether it was planned or it was simply a short brandable domain that became available. I’ve heard in the plurkosphere it’s a cross of “Play and Work”. Whatever it is they have hit the big time with something that’s bound to become a blockbuster. I can’t see how it won’t.
What Are The Top 10 Reasons To Say Hello To Plurk?
1) Everything is organized on a graphical timeline. It …
Quality First - Quantity Distant Second

When I first bought this blog in November 2007 I thought I had to post all the time. I wanted to post all the time but sometimes you just have nothing to say.
Next time you’re sitting over a blog post with nothing really on your mind how about you do other things? That’s what I’ve been doing; I’ll tell you what I’ve been up to and how this blog has faired with just 1 update over all of last week.
First let me say the HIGHEST I’ve seen the subscriber count since I purchased the blog at around 180 subscribers was a max of 240. We’re currently at 237 after leaving a post on the front page for 1 solid week now.
What does this tell me? It tells me that it’s better to update less with quality then it is to update frequently with mediocre posts for the sake of posting. So instead of sitting around scratching my head thinking of …
Making No Money? This Could Be Why!

Not making much money online? Want to know why?
The reason is simple it’s because you’re lazy and running your blog like a hobby you’re sorta into. Imagine if you ran a business with the dedication you currently put towards your blog? Chances are it would fail to be profitable as well. Sound familiar?
I have a newsflash for myself and everyone. Blogging is citizen journalism. Whatever niche you’re in you’re competing with journalists. People who are really into the topic and gain satisfaction in releasing the latest and greatest news from the industry or writing in depth pieces on topics of interest to that niche. That’s where the money is at in blogging; being at the forefront of journalism online in your niche.
Why do you think so many Make Money Online blogs go nowhere?
A) because the author doesn’t make any money themselves
B) The author gets his / her “stories” from other larger popular blogs and regurgitates them
C) The author is quasi …
